♡ Review: Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder

Hey guys! I've been MIA for a few months because honestly I just didn't have the drive to blog and uni has been stressful with exams. But I thought I'll make a comeback with a review of a really popular and hyped product from Innisfree - their famous "No Sebum" powder!

I got this product quite a while back... maybe even a year ago, but as you can see from the pictures I still have a lot left and it's because I don't really reach for it. It's not a bad product but it's not for me.

Let's go through the claims of this product from the Innisfree Website. It claims;
  1. "The double sebum-control system controls the secretion of sebum to keep the skin soft and fresh all day long."
  2. "Jeju minerals and mint control skin oil and moisture to keep skin healthy."
  3. It also claims to leave the skin "soft and matte".
The powder itself is really soft and finely milled. It has an extremely silky texture and it leaves my skin so "soft and matte". The matte finish that is offered by this powder is definitely really flattering. In no way does it make your face look flat, whatsoever - instead your face has a really nice, soft focus appearance and your pores are seem to diminish. The powder looks quite natural on, it doesn't leave a weird cakey mess on your face.

**Side note: It has a baby powder type of scent, it's strong but I kinda like it.**

Now, the reason why I don't reach for it is because it doesn't control my oils really well (hence it doesn't last that long on me, I have to touch up about 2-3hrs in) and on the daily, I need a powder that provides a bit more coverage. Obviously as this being a translucent powder, it offers no colour - I don't know if this powder would give you a white cast if you use it for baking because I've never used it for that before.

I like using this powder as a light setting over my more fuller coverage foundations such as Estee Lauder's Double Wear. It softens the matte look of Double Wear. But I do like this powder to set my eye primers before going in with my eyeshadows as it provides a really smooth base.

Overall, the powder is nice - provides a light setting with a soft matte, poreless look. Oil controlling power isn't that great on my oily skin. I like it enough to keep using it but I will not repurchase.
