♡ Review: Chichi Glamorous Eyeshadow Palette in "Spice"

Whenever I walk pass Chichi's eyeshadow palettes I can't help but look and swatch them but for some reason I never got them. I didn't get this palette myself either though - shoutout to my boyfriend for getting it for me! I was drawn to this palette out of the many they have due to the warm tones. These eyeshadows have often been compared to the quality of the Urban Decay's ones so I've tried these shadows out for a few weeks with and without a primer and now I'm here to give you my verdict on this product!

Pigmentation: The pigmentation for these shadows as seen from the swatches are pretty good. They pretty much translate the same on my eyes but these shadows are quite soft so you can overly blend the colours too much and lose its intensity easily - this can be overcome by just packing on more so it doesn't bother me too much. It kind of pains me to say this but... I think the shimmers in this palette apply, look and wear better than the shimmers in the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette! I was pretty shocked as well but you best believe it!

The shadows apply well without a primer and last about 5-6 hours on my oily eyelids before fading and creasing but they last all day when I use it in conjunction with an eyeshadow primer - I use the Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer. I've also applied the eyeshadow over a concealed and powdered eyelid and that seemed to work great as well!

Colour Combination: Honestly as a lover of warm coloured shadows, I just cant fault the colour combination of this palette. It gives you a great array of both shimmers, mid tones and darker colours. You could easily create daytime looks and transform it into a night-time smokey eye easily with this colour scheme.

In saying that - those who favour cool shadows might not like this palette as much. (I'm actually starting to like cool colours on my eyes now... I feel like I'm betraying my warmer colours)

Packaging: The packaging is plastic, its simple, but I feel like if you drop it, it will definitely break - I love how it has a clear cover so I can easily see the colours.

Lasting Power: Without any eyeshadow primer it lasts 5-6 hours, both the shimmery and mattes will wear off but the shimmery shades wear off a lot faster, with a primer they last all day - though the shimmers still fade a bit.

Price and Where To Purchase: $22.95 and I got mine at Myers.

Rating: 4/5

My Quick First Colourpop Haul + Swatches

Hello everyone! This will just be a quick post mainly to show you swatches of some Colourpop shadows I just got! So far I've only use 'Bae' on my eyes, and it was a learning curve. I will do separate detailed reviews on these when I've tried them out more. Colourpop recently changed their international shipping policies so I'm looking forward to getting more stuff! (esp their highlighters and lip products!)

Anywho, these are the three shadows I got:
  1. Bae- a duochrome of green and brown
  2. Coconut- a beautiful vibrant blue
  3. Dare- sparkly mid-tone purple
